This plugin provides complete camera control in Resident Evil Requiem, allowing you to manually adjust the field of view (FOV). Unlike the default settings, this mod separates settings for first- and third-person perspectives and allows for detailed adjustments to the camera's behavior while aiming (ADS). You can choose a fixed FOV when shooting or a dynamic zoom that scales based on your primary settings. The mod does not affect story cutscenes or scripted events, preserving the game's cinematic feel.

Peculiarities

  • Set different FOV for 1st and 3rd person modes.
  • There are two ADS operating modes: fixed angle or percentage zoom from the current view.
  • The zoom speed remains standard, which eliminates visual bugs.
  • All changes made are saved to the configuration file and applied at each startup.

  • REFramework
  • .NET 10.0 Desktop Runtime : Required for C# scripts.

Installation

  1. Install the base components: download the RE9.zip and csharp-api archives and extract their contents to the game's root folder.
  2. Download this plugin and also unzip it into the game folder.
  3. Launch the game. The first launch after installing csharp-api may take a long time (up to several minutes) – wait until initialization completes.
  4. Open the REFramework menu ( Insert key ).
  5. Go to the REFramework.NET script generated UI section , select RE9_CustomCameraFOV and adjust the sliders to your liking.
