V0.1.6 version:
Added support for sekiro Removed pointless infinite mode Some minor changes
Dark Souls III's enemy randomizer, even multiple enemies
This mod can randomize the following:
normal enemyboss (requires -o or -m argument)
NPC (requires -f or -a parameter)
Multiply the enemy by 2~9 times (requires -2~-9 parameters)
It randomizes these characters by modifying the map file directly, so, once installed, there is no need to operate it anymore Note that randomizing bosses and NPCs is a bit different than randomizing enemies, it doesn't change their position, it clones them and randomizes them These clones. Defeating these clones rewards no. It's not intentional, but is limited by the Dark Souls III game engine However, if you want to enjoy a more exciting and arduous journey, it can be quite a choice
By the way, since I'm not a native English speaker, please tolerate grammatical mistakes, you can also report them in the post
Installation
Download UXM from Nexus or JKAnderson/UXM
Unzip DS3 with UXM
Run StraySouls.exe
(Optional) Type backup to back up the original map file
Type random to randomize enemies
Patch with UXM, remember to exit DS3 before patching
Enjoy a new journey!
For example, "type << random -m -o -3" means randomize normal enemies, including main and optional bosses, but keep friendly and aggressive NPCs, then multiply these randomized enemies three times
Uninstall
If you have backed up
Run StraySouls.exe
type restore
Packaging with UXM
if you do not have
OnSlaught provides vanilla files
Replace the files in ..\DARK SOULS III\map\mapstudio\ with the vanilla files
Packaging with UXM
Replace means you should not delete other files
to punish
Since this mod doesn't modify your save files, it shouldn't penalize you. But according to UXM's description, this is just a hypothesis
FAQ
Q: Is it compatible with OnSlaught?
Answer: Yes, if you use a version after v0.1.3-alpha, you can use the -2~-9 parameter to get the multiplication function, otherwise, before randomizing Q, first drag the file from OnSlaught to the mapstudio folder. Is it compatible with any rule modules (Irregulator etc.)?
Answer: Yes, they modified the Data0.bhd file, there shouldn't be any conflict issues. Is it compatible with CE scripts (Item Randomizer, etc)?
A: Yes, they modify at runtime, this mod changes the files directly
Problem This mod is still under construction. There may be some nasty cases that I haven't encountered.
Be prepared to use some technology (CE, etc.) to handle them.
